Sohn Youngjae (Hangul: 손영재), better known as Eric (Hangul: 에릭), was born in Seoul South Korea on December 22, 2000. He is the lead dancer, lead rapper, vocalist, and maknae of the South Korean boy group THE BOYZ.

Son Youngjae was born in Seoul, South Korea on December 22, 2000. He was a baseball player in middle school. [1]He achieved 4th place in a Rubik’s cube competition in Grade 4 and 2nd place at a baseball championship in California during middle school. [1]
2017: Debut with The Boyz[]
On July 21, Eric was announced as the last member of THE BOYZ, with his DAZED Profile Film released on the same day.[2][3]
On December 6, Eric officially debuted as a member of THE BOYZ. He and his members released the debut mini album The First, featuring the title track "소년 (Boy)".
